TL;DR
This proposal presents the structure of the HPP Party Knights Program: Cohort 2 for community review, incorporating feedback and clarifications from the General Discussion (Sep 4 – Sep 9).
What we’re proposing:
-
Uncapped participation, no fixed seat limit
-
Continuous, open-ended duration, tracking effective from September 1, 2026, continuing until the community proposes and approves further changes
-
No eligibility restrictions on target community or follower count
-
Monthly reward pool remains fixed at 35K HPP; scoring formula and reward tiers unchanged from Cohort 1
Key question for the community:
Should HPP proceed with Party Knights Cohort 2 under this open, uncapped, and continuous structure?
Community input at this stage will directly shape the Formal Proposal before it moves to a formal vote.
Clarifications from General Discussion
This section reflects questions and decisions confirmed during the General Discussion phase.
On retroactive application: Cohort 2 tracking began on September 1 so there would be no gap between Cohort 1 ending and Cohort 2 starting. Activity from September 1 onward is being tracked under the exact structure described in this proposal (uncapped participation, open eligibility, 35K HPP pool, unchanged scoring and tiers). No rewards will be distributed for this period until governance concludes and the structure is formally approved. If the community requests changes during this discussion or the Governance Topic phase, those changes apply going forward from the point of approval; activity already tracked under the original terms will not be rescored retroactively. If the proposal does not pass, the tracking window will be treated as void and no rewards will be issued for it.
1. Overview
The HPP Party Knights Program is a structured ambassador initiative designed to accelerate ecosystem growth by attracting high-quality contributors. Cohort 2 continues this initiative under an open, uncapped, and continuous structure, with participants actively engaging in:
-
Product storytelling
-
Community activation, focused on X (Twitter) social virality
-
Ecosystem expansion
2. Background & Rationale
Cohort 1 ran for 3 months with a 35K HPP monthly reward pool and a cap of 30 participants. Over the course of the cohort, the Party Knights AI aggregation system and the reward airdrop process were confirmed to run successfully end to end, from scoring through distribution.
With this operational foundation validated, Cohort 2 moves the program toward a more open and scalable structure, removing the participant cap, the fixed cohort duration, and the eligibility restrictions that shaped Cohort 1.
3. What’s Changing from Cohort 1
3.1 Uncapped Participation
The 30-participant cap is removed. Any contributor who meets the existing content and activity requirements can join and earn rewards, without a fixed seat limit.
3.2 Continuous, Open-Ended Duration
Rather than a fixed 3-month term, Cohort 2 is structured as an ongoing program. Tracking is effective from September 1, 2026, and the program continues indefinitely unless the community proposes and approves a change to its structure or termination.
3.3 No Eligibility Restrictions
Cohort 1 targeted nano-to-micro influencers (1K+ followers) in English-language Web3 communities. For Cohort 2, this restriction is removed; participation is open regardless of follower count or community.
4. Program Structure
4.1 Participation
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Cohort size | Uncapped |
| Cohort duration | Continuous, effective Sep 1, 2026 |
| Monthly reward pool | 35K HPP |
| Target community | No restriction |
4.2 Scoring Formula
Rewards are distributed based on a two-factor scoring model, unchanged from Cohort 1:
Monthly Score = CQ (Content Quality) × TA (Tweet Activity)
-
CQ (Content Quality): Evaluated monthly by HPP core team based on originality, relevance, and engagement quality. Scored 0–100.
-
TA (Tweet Activity): Total number of qualifying posts submitted during the month.
-
Quality floor: If CQ < 40, monthly score = 0 (no reward issued regardless of activity volume).
4.3 Reward Tiers
| Tier | Monthly Score Threshold | Reward Multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| Top 10% | ×2.0 | |
| Top 25% | ×1.5 | |
| Top 50% | ×1.2 | |
| Remaining active | ×1.0 | |
| -– Inactive | < 1,500 points | No reward |
4.4 Key Consideration: Reward Dilution
Because the monthly pool is fixed at 35K HPP while participation is uncapped, the reward per participant will vary with the size of the active, qualifying participant pool. As more contributors qualify for rewards in a given month, individual payouts will scale down accordingly.
5. Cohort 2 Timeline
| Phase | Period |
|---|---|
| Governance Topic (current) | Sep 9 (Wed) – Sep 16 (Wed) |
| Formal Proposal | Sep 16 (Wed) – Sep 18 (Fri) |
| Voting | Sep 18 (Fri) – Sep 23 (Wed) |
| Cohort 2 Confirmation | Sep 23 (Wed) |
6. Open Questions for the Community
The following points remain open for community input before the Formal Proposal is drafted:
-
Is a fixed 35K HPP monthly pool sustainable if the qualifying participant pool grows substantially over time?
-
Should there be a periodic review checkpoint (for example, quarterly) to reassess the pool size as the program scales, even though the program itself is open-ended?
-
With eligibility restrictions removed, are there concerns about content quality, spam, or sybil-style participation that the scoring formula’s quality floor does not already address?
-
Any other structural concerns before this moves to a Formal Proposal?
Please share your feedback in this thread. The Formal Proposal will be published on Sep 16.
