TL;DR
Cohort 1 of the Party Knights Ambassador Program has concluded. This thread opens discussion on Cohort 2, which proposes three structural changes based on Cohort 1’s results, while keeping the core reward mechanics unchanged.
What we’re proposing:
- Remove the 30-participant cap. Participation is open, with no upper limit. Move from a fixed 3-month cohort to a continuous, open-ended program.
- Cohort 2 is proposed to begin tracking from September 1, 2026, and will continue until the community proposes and approves further changes.
- Remove eligibility restrictions on target community or follower count. Participation is open to all contributors, not limited to nano-to-micro influencers in English-language Web3 communities.
- Monthly reward pool remains fixed at 35K HPP. Scoring formula and reward tiers remain unchanged from Cohort 1.
Key question for the community:
Should HPP move forward with Party Knights Cohort 2 under this open, uncapped, and continuous structure?
- Background: Cohort 1 Results
- Cohort 1 ran for 3 months with a 35K HPP monthly reward pool and a cap of 30 participants.
- Over the course of the cohort, the Party Knights AI aggregation system and the reward airdrop process were confirmed to run successfully end to end, from scoring through distribution.
- With this operational foundation validated, the program is now positioned to move toward a more open and scalable structure for Cohort 2.
- What’s Changing for Cohort 2
2.1 Uncapped Participation
The 30-participant cap is removed. Any contributor who meets the existing content and activity requirements can join and earn rewards, without a fixed seat limit.
2.2 Continuous, Open-Ended Duration
Rather than a fixed 3-month term, Cohort 2 is structured as an ongoing program.
Tracking begins September 1, 2026, and the program continues indefinitely unless the community proposes and approves a change to its structure or termination.
2.3 No Eligibility Restrictions
Cohort 1 targeted nano-to-micro influencers (1K+ followers) in English-language Web3 communities.
For Cohort 2, this restriction is removed. Participation is open regardless of follower count or community.
- What Stays the Same
- Monthly reward pool: fixed at 35K HPP. Scoring formula: Monthly Score = CQ (Content Quality) x TA (Tweet Activity), with a quality floor (CQ below 40 results in a score of 0).
- Reward tiers: Platinum (top 10%, x2.0), Gold (top 25%, x1.5), Silver (top 50%, x1.2), Bronze (remaining active, x1.0), Inactive (below 1,500 monthly points, no reward).
- Key Consideration: Reward Dilution
- Because the monthly pool is fixed while participation is uncapped, the reward per participant will vary with the size of the active, qualifying participant pool.
- As more contributors qualify for rewards in a given month, individual payouts will scale down accordingly.
- This is a direct trade-off of removing the participant cap, and the community’s input on whether this trade-off is acceptable is one of the central questions for this discussion.
- Open Questions for the Community
- Is a fixed 35K HPP monthly pool sustainable if the qualifying participant pool grows substantially over time?
- Should there be a periodic review checkpoint (for example, quarterly) to reassess the pool size as the program scales, even though the program itself is open-ended?
- With eligibility restrictions removed, are there concerns about content quality, spam, or sybil-style participation that the scoring formula’s quality floor does not already address?
- Are there any other structural concerns before this moves toward a Governance Topic?
Please share your feedback in this thread. Based on community input, a Governance Topic will be prepared next.
